Project Overview
During the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the resulting vaccinations that became available, it was suddenly necessary to supply healthcare volunteers with photo ID badges.
St John’s Ambulance secured the contract for administering COVID-19 vaccinations in 2021. The organisation swiftly mobilised a team of dedicated volunteers to carry out vaccination drives across numerous locations nationwide. With the need for identification badges for volunteers, they chose Ingenia to fulfil their requirement.
Our Approach
There were a few challenges that naturally come attached to a project of this scale, among them was the window for turnaround. Since volunteers needed to be supplied with an identification badge within days of completing their training, to ensure the process of vaccinations could be carried out smoothly, we had to process and produce photo ID cards same-day.
The timely deployment of the completed product along with Ingenia’s commitment to quality meant that there was no room for error during this important project. Processing over 50,000 cards and mailing them to each individual recipient within the given time-frame we handled a total of 147 data packets. Since the personal information contained within these files was of such a sensitive nature St John’s ambulance was counting on us, and our ISO27001 certification, to guarantee the security of their volunteers’ data.
