MIFARE Classic® 1K NXP EV1 composite material (PET core) cards - PVC1-MI1-P (Pack of 100)
MIFARE 1K NXP (4 byte UID) contactless chip blank white plastic cards with a PET core material for greatly enhanced durability, and also significantly greater resistance to bending when overprinted.
The PET core material increases the 'flex cycles' of the card by approximately 10 times compared to a standard material card, giving the product a expected hugely increased life cycle of approximately 10 to 20 years.
In addition it is reccomended to use a PET core material card such as this to avoid bowing of the card if you are overprinting using a re-transfer printer, as these use high heat temperatures in the printing process.
In addition PET as a material is far more eco-friendly than PVC as it is easily recycled, relatively energy efficent to produce, light-weight, and has a very long lifespan.
