This reader is suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments as it is weather-resistant with waterproof electronics. The STid Arc One Mullion reader operates at 13.56 MHz frequency and is one of the most secure and compact readers available on the market.

SLEEK DESIGN FOR EASY INTEGRATION

Due to it’s very narrow and compact footprint, this mullion reader can be installed in spaces requiring a small footprint, for example on door frames, narrow electrical junction boxes, sliding doors, fast access control corridors, or elevators. Its optimised sleek design ensures perfect integration, whatever the installation environment and without additional spacers required (even on metal). The pluggable cable and the mounting base make it easy to install.

This reader supports the latest MIFARE® DESFire® EV2 & EV3 contactless technologies with the newest data security devices: ‘Secure Messaging EV2 - transaction security that protects against interleaving and replay attacks’ and ‘Proximity Check - protection against relay attacks’. It supports the use of public security algorithms (3DES, AES, RSA, SHA…) recognized by specialized and independent organisations in information security (ANSSI and FIPS).

ULTIMATE SELF-PROTECTION

This ready is equipped with a patented motion sensor pull detection system that protects sensitive data by allowing authentication keys to be erased. Unlike existing solutions within this market, the reliability of the accelerometer avoids potential system bypass for maximum security.
